A values-based Fraternity, Delta Tau Delta was founded in 1858 in Bethany College, Virginia. With more than 130 chapters across the United States and an average chapter size of 55 men, Delt is "Committed to Lives of Excellence." Truth, Courage, Faith, and Power are its foundation while it actively embraces integrity, accountability, community service and brotherhood in its values.
With more than 150,000 initiates in its 150 years of existence, the Fraternity offers its members unique opportunities to lead the Vermont community. Adopt-A-School, the Fraternity's national service initiative, records nearly 100,000 hours of service by Delts each year. An academic leader in the fraternity world, Delt places the highest priority on academics before all else.
Delta Tau Delta, Iota Pi chapter has enjoyed 5 prosperous years here at UVM campus, growing in both numbers and tradition. We are excited about our 6th year starting up, and we are hopeful to keep on growing to continue to solidify our standing as leaders on campus.
